Getting here

Manchester is one of the most accessible cities in the UK for both national and international visitors via road, rail and air.

In the city, you can jump on a free bus service (number 2), which stops directly outside the hotel from Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria train stations. Around the city, walking is the best mode of transport to take in and feel the true heart of Manchester. If you are traveling a little further, Manchester's Metrolink tram system has been developed to encourage easier and faster travel in the city-centre and beyond, connecting all of the major railway stations and tourist attractions. The Metrolink runs every few minutes - so you don't need a timetable - you can just turn up and travel anytime from early morning until late in the evening.

  • There are three main stations in the city centre: Piccadilly, Oxford Road and Victoria. With direct rail services from across the country, getting here is easy with London just 2 hours away, Edinburgh 3 hours, Birmingham 1 hour and 28mins and Manchester airport just 14 minutes.

  • Manchester is well connected to the rest of the UK via excellent motorway links with the ring road, M60, connecting motorways from all directions.

The nearest car park is the Great Northern NCP, located on Watson Street, Manchester, M3 4EE (a 5-minute walking distance from the hotel): Payment is made directly with the NCP. Height Restriction - 2.1 meters (6 feet 9 inches)

  • Manchester Airport is the global gateway to the North of England, and the third largest airport in the UK. More than 60 airlines ensure Manchester is directly connected to over 200 destinations around the world.
